Just a few weeks after the launch of the Hennessey Blackbird we have another analogue focused supercar. However this comes from the brand famous for creating one of the pinacle analogue supercars.
The headline is that this is McLarens first manual road car since the F1, however this is not a successor of the F1, instead it is a modern interpretation on the M6GT. The M6GT was a road car concept based on McLaren’s M6A racing program, which was a Group 7 prototype in Can-Am during the 1960s. Bruice McLaren, the founder of Mclaren, intended to release a road variant of the car a the time, however tragically, the road car concept was never fully realised as Bruce McLaren died while testing a Can-Am car in 1970.
